Actor Hari Bansha Acharya's statement:
"Recently, various comments and controversies surrounding the Nepali film ‘Panch Pandav’ have been coming to light. Since the movie has not yet been released and its complete storyline is yet to be presented to the audience, it would not be fair to form an opinion about the entire film based on a few songs, scenes, or promotional materials.
‘Panch Pandav’ is not a film based on the epic Mahabharata; rather, it is a movie based on a contemporary Nepali social story, from which only a minor symbolic metaphor from the Mahabharata has been adopted. In this, the names of certain characters from the Mahabharata are used solely in the context of the story. Furthermore, the character or role of Draupadi from the Mahabharata is not included in the film. Therefore, I request all viewers, well-wishers, and concerned individuals to express their opinions only after understanding the complete storyline and presentation of the film."
